Spring, summer and fall will be busy for us! We have gigs on the horizon, plus - get ready for this -- we hope to release our first CD by the end of the year.
First: the gigs.
From outdoor gigs to private functions (and the occasional Main Streets Market and Cafe gig) we will be busy serenading folks. Need a band for an occasion? Email me!
Next: the originals
So... yeah... after all these years on the planet, I figured it was time to put the English major to use and do some writing. It's a band-wide effort. The first submission is a bouncy tune tentatively titled, "You Ain't My Table" (but the boys call it "The Waitress Song"). It's dedicated to women who know how to set boundaries (with thanks to my friend, Kathy Kopitsky for the inspiration). Next up: a waltz-y thing called, "Happy Ever After Now."
I am grateful to the boys in the band for their musicianship, enthusiasm and patience and I try to figure out what the hell I'm doing.
Meantime, come see us at our next Bardy Party on at Johnson's Compounding Pharmacy on May 7, when we appear un-drummed. :)
