When we were asked to play a surprise 90th birthday party this summer, we weren't sure what to expect.
We shouldn't have worried.
Well into our second set, the birthday girl came up to the band and asked, "Do you know Proud Mary?" Well, okay, then! We cobbled together a decent, adhoc version of the CCR song and watched the crowd join their mother/grandmother/great grandmother on the dance floor.
Always fun to be part of the memories.
